93 Club Car w/Alltrax Controller still not moving

I'm still working on my 93 Club Car with the Alltrax Conroller upgrade. I posted a while back about it not moving but everything I tried didn't help it. I put a new solenoid on and it still just clicks and will not move. How do I know if it is the controller or the motor? Thanks

Is your Controller getting voltage? When you press the peddle does the LED on the controller light up? if so is it solid green or does it flash?

When I press the pedal, I am getting voltage to the controller but I don't see an LED light anywhere.

Alltrax has troubleshooting information on their site, just look up your model. Guys here should also advise with experience and ideas.

Remove (disconnect one end of ) the solenoid resistor for testing.
Now see if you have 36v between B+ and B- when the solenoid clicks. If yes, then...
Check to see if you are indeed getting + 36v to the controller pin #1. If yes, then....
See if you read 36v between B- and M- when the solenoid clicks AND see if that voltage reading drops as you press the gas down...... this completes the controller test


If all this checks out but the cart does not go test the throttle input signal with an ohm meter ...... and report back

Scottyb, when I checked the voltage between B- and M- it showed the voltage but did not change as the pedal was pressed down.

SO is the solenoid clicking and LED is solid green? Does the LED turn orange when the gas peddle is fully depressed? We need to know what the color and sequence of the led flashing is now.

Is it programmable? If so get or use the software u got, get special serial cable and plug it in with your laptop and verify the right boxes are selected per the manual. When I got mine something was checked that wouldn't allow it to work. I called alltrax AFTER everything was hooked up and they walked me thru it. It was one box selected that needed to be un selected. I just can't remember.
