This is the diagram for the rocker switch replacement. Use a Precedent switch and housing.

Scotty......do you sell that switch? that actually replaces the ezgo micro-switches for the F&R....is that correct?

The switches I have seen, have 6 spades on the back.....does anyone have a wiring diagram so someone like me know which wire goes where for that conversion noted above?
and if I read Scotty's diagram above.....there is a diode between the yellow and the red wires.....how do you actually connect them together? OR is the diode internal to the switch?

Any 3 blade rocker switch with center off will work. The 6 blade switches are just 2 parallel switches in one.

Based o the above it looks like i am not removing the old switch / controller but rather just adding the rocker switch to control it. Is that correct ?

Nope. The hockey puck goes away and is replaced by the new housing and switch.

He doesn't have the hockey puck - he has the early 1995 switch - he can post pics if needed.

And yes - you will replace your switch with this switch
Your confusion may lie in the idea you need a HD F&R but in this cart no, you do not need a HD F&R but you can upgrade to a nicer rocker switch.

Scotty, it looks like I am going to do that with the DCS I am about to upgrade....

BUT what about the diode that is in the drawing you posted above.....

If I read your diagram, there is a diode between the yellow and the red wires.....how do you actually connect them together? OR is the diode internal to the switch? or what? as I don't see one in the picture in post #9
