Default 1997 EZGO 36 volt DCS cart

Hey guys need some HELP hoping someone has a answer. I have a 1997 EZGO 36 volt DCS cart. Having problems going in forward and reverse, found the problem but don't know how to fix. The cam on the forward and reverse switch is not making contact. Not sure why there is a spring on it, or how it would have came out of line. Can't find any replacement parts except the switch, they are good. Any ideas, or is there a upgrade kit to make it a push button. Anyone got a used one for sale? PLEASE HELP

WC, does your FNR switch have two microswitches in the 10:00 and 2:00 position on the FNR switch?

Where is your F/F in the middle of the cart, with two micro switches on it. Looks like a silver dish on the back of the F/R?. Or is it over in the right corner, with a rod connected to it?

I have replaced the 2 micro switches in the past, in the mean time you may be able to bend the arms on the switches to insure greater contact, the arms touch and push the small plungers (which are the actual switches). I see the switches on some site sponsors, not the assembly or cam.
