Default 97 ALLTRAX no soft start

just got this thing going and put the Alltrax controller in to check to see if it was a good part.
the cart runs, but it has no soft start or ramp up, it just slams the tires. Is this normal? I didn't think this particular controller(npx4834ez) was adjustable. Or,, is an ITS adjustment?
?????

I forgot to mention, I tried two ezgo controllers before this and they didn't seem to slam the tires, just go to hi speed. Yes I have rubber marks in the shop now.

Make sure that the controller is set to ITS throttle position. Should blow blink green 4 times then go solid green.

If the other 2 controllers work normal, i would say the ITS is adjusted ok.

Sounds like a compatibility problem where the control and the cart are on 2 different throttle types. or?
What model control?
What model golf cart?

4 green is ITS in Alltrax codes and a 97 should have that.

the unit is a NPX 4834 EZ. bought the cart with the controller on it, not running and am checking for functionality. I'll check out Alltrax to see if its right application.

now we have a model # it appears to be the proper application. The orange LED indicates a WOT condition. Open the pedal box and see if everything is copacetic there. Then test the throttle signal.
Should be 10v when the solenoid clicks. Does the solenoid click?
And 6v when the pedal is fully depressed.
