Default Rxv will not move, beep, or unlock brake.

2009 rxv cart. Turn key and nothing happens. I have change key switch, it has 48 volts on blue wire coming from charging port, has new motor brake. selonoid not pulling in ( will pull in if I jump a ground from battery bank to - side of selonoid. Cart will not move in tow either. Brake will unlock if I follow instruction under the controller cover and my be the plugs around.

Have you measured the voltage of the battery pack? I had similar experience when mine sat and batteries drained. RXV will shutdown once batteries get to a certain point.

Yes I have load tested the batteries also, voltage at battery pack is 53.8. All terminals are clean. The cart was running fine and just quit and will not do anything.

Its a long shot but there is a connector under the cup holder that must be plugged in. If it has worker loose cart wont move. Just a thought. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Search the site for Rxv Danaher troubleshooting Guide. It has many tests & specs for you to test. Sounds like possible "DC bus low" from failed Resistor control module. Usually that failure will still allow brake unlock, but I have seen that code/failure do many strange things. Don't spend another dollar on parts until you get the guide & start checking every spec in there. (also, stop "jumping" the solenoid, you could kill your controller by jumping circuits that are managed by the controller). The Rxv has sensitive electronics, it ain't like an old "resistor car" that barely cares what you do to it.

I was able to get a controller from a working cart, I now can hear the solenoid pull in, the cart will check the motor brake, the buzzer sounds, but still will not move. The closest cart shop that has a programmer is about 160 miles away...I have check both brake and throttle switches per the specs on the troubleshooting guide. The brake will now unlock in tow mode. Anything else I should check?

There's about 50 tests you could try in the guide. It's a "shotgun approach" without the codes given by the programmer.

Where are you located? I know you have a 2009, but I have some spare parts with me that are universal for all RXVs. I even have complete Curtis wiring harnesses and controllers that can be used to diagnose issues with the RXV chassis components.

I have the 2009 cart as well and mine has sat...however even after replacing the batteries I don’t have a buzzing and it won’t switch into tow mode or move! Lights and horn all work
