Question on replacing light switch
I have a 2007 Ezgo TXT with the light kit installed. The switch that came with it is a long toggle switch and I keep turning it on with my leg. I want to replace it with a led rocker switch that I bought and am not sure how to wire it as the previous switch was only 2 wires and the led switch takes 3. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Question on replacing light switch
The new rocker switch should be marked. You will still have the supply and load terminals (same as your "old" switch), but will also have a ground terminal. The extra terminal completes a circuit to light the rocker switch when it's on".

Re: Question on replacing light switch
Sometimes, especially if you got the switch from Amazon/ china, there may not be a schematic included. If not, or if the one that came with it is not clear, use your dvm to verify continuity between the different connections. The ground will not have continuity either of the other two. The line and load will have continuity when the switch is on.
