Could be bad sensor or bad controller or bad wiring.

There is a 4-pin inline connector where the cable from the pedal box connects to the control wiring harness. Disconnect it and measure the voltage on the black wire when the solenoid clicks.

Note: disconnecting the 4-pin connector also disconnects the pedal switch, so you'll have to run a jumper wire for the battery pack's main positive terminal to the solenoid's small terminal with the red wires attached to get solenoid to click.

ok guys I final figured out problem, the forward micro switch was burnt out causing cart to run in what I would could consider a "limp" mode, that's why reverse seemed to be normal but forward was not working properly, I replaced micro switch and man this thing will haul tail now. thanks for all your help and hope this may help someone else
