Default Alternative controller mounting

Anyone have any ideas for a alternative to mounting the controller and solenoid, on a late model cc precedent??

Keep in mind the Curtis 1268 heat-sink that dissipates the heat is on the base, so do not mount it to plastic like You can do with the Altrax XCT.

Here is a picture from David @ RevolutionGolfCars for that 1268 Controller, just make sure you keep the power cables away from the Controller area I posted on your other thread.

With the XCT there are none of the heat issues you mention. Thing runs cool as a cucumber

This!

On mine, the infrared thermometer read 102 degrees on the XCT after a 6 mile run at an average speed of 18 mph and a top speed of 26 MPH.

The hottest part on the motor was 132 degrees.

Do it like I did mine. Sergio posted a picture of it. A little bit of cutting and notching was required on the battery bucket, but after that it fit like a glove. Notice my car did not have an OBC on it. If you're using an OBC, mount it on the front side of the panel with the bolt heads on the front as well. Tighten the bolts and grind the back side down smooth so it doesn't interfere with the controller.
