Age determination issue
Hi all!
I know how to determine the age of the golf cart by the first 2 letters on the sticker, but with this Club Car DS I have a problem. It doesn't have any letters in front of the numbers! The only sticker with a bar code and a Club Car logo shows 8 numbers just above the bar code. 00125903 It started with 00. The seat and the top is the newer model so I know it is after 2000 but that is not enough. Please help me out is it any other way? I been told from the seller it is 2012, but I can't sell it with lies, I want to give a right information to my buyer. Please help me out. Also it has a Tow/Run switch under the seat. |

Re: Age determination issue
The seat's back rest is 1 piece, and on the roof has a handle, so I know it is newer than 2000 . I attached a photo

Re: Age determination issue
Welcome to BGW atti!
If it's a DS, there should be a second tag under the dash plate: (click pics to enlarge) Serial Number 2nd location 004.jpg Serial Number 2nd location 005.jpg If it's a Precedent, there should be second tag under the petal group cover. (I don't have a pics of that one, and you'll have to pull back to floor mat to access the cover.) |

Re: Age determination issue
shouldnt that be later model with a run tow switch ? I dont have one on mine and its A0016-884260 unless its not a series drive. I know there was a few changes to the DS in 2000.
