Default Ez-Go RXV SC48 charger issue

I have a 2015 RXV with the SC48 charger. Charged the cart last night everything worked fine. The plug had a crack in it, I received my replacement end, installed it correctly, now the charger will not charge the cart. I have double checked the wires, all is how it was. The green LED on the cart next to the charging plug lights up solid green when the charger end is plugged in, but the charger LED will not turn on. No lights whatsoever on the charger. I checked it with a handheld after the charger has been plugged in, and the power is at the same percent, 89%. I am at a loss.

Anyone have any ideas? I find it hard to believe that it worked one day and then dead.

Thanks for any and all help.

Does it show "charger yes" in the handheld when plugged in? Unfortunately, the SC-48 is just a QE in new lipstick, I looked inside.

I also expect a mountain of failed SCs in the near future as well. The fins are made of chromed PLASTIC (one fell off the shelf and broke off a fin so I saw the material) which leads me to believe MORE failures due to heat than the original QEs.

We just started seeing SC48s with our last batch of 2015 TXT 48s. Unlike the QE, there is actually a small vent near the LED designed to vent the smoke once it is let out of the unit upon failure.

Faults are the same as with failed QEs. there should always be five red/green flashes when plugged into the car, even if not plugged into AC power. If you are not getting that, that either means the charger is fried, or there's an open circuit between the charger and car, or receptacle on car to battery pack, mostly involving the little black cube attached to the grey twisted pair cable going to B+
