You definitely have a faulty fan. It should run when you "test" it through the tool kit..... That is a manual input and not temperature or logic related.

My fan runs as expected, when it’s hot outside and I’ve ran it hard. So my answer would be occasionally. MOT A-2 motor, 18” tires, XCT500 in stock location but with rear plastic cover removed. 25 MPH

The Fan is designed to come on at 70% capacity.
70% capacity would be 350 or 400 amp draw depending upon rated or actual amperage for the XCT500. 500 vs 570 amps

I'm wondering if anybody who is having the fan come on can share a monitor file with us?
