Not quite sure I would start quoting commandments but I agree David understands Club Cars way better than I do. In this situation pulling the cart that fast in Run it definitely took out some components. Motor may have survived but I would think the solenoid and controller may have bit the dust. I had a similar problem where the person did the same but not as fasted and it melted the solenoid. Changed it and he was good. In this case though I don't think you are going to get that lucky. Look at it this way, tell the wife she broke the cart so now you have to upgrade it

I was thinking about calling David at Revolution but since no one suggested it I am now thinking that would be a bad idea. Actually David and Revolution are in the same state as me but sill are still 2.5 hours a way. I'd love to get some help from them -I doubt it makes sense though for either one of us to make that drive.

You do not know David. He will get you (tell you) what is wrong over the phone..... Then he will help you get what you need to get going.

David is two hours away from me and I have taken mine to him several times ...I like knowing it was done right, especially if it's something I am not comfortable doing myself. I have several carts shops close by and they are good folks but they just don't have his knowledge.

Our business was based on customer service over the phone, text, and/or email support. You do not need to be here for me to help you. Call me during the middle of a work day and explain to me what's going on and I'll walk you through it. A good starting point would be for you to send me some pictures of your cart. Send a picture of the cart, pictures of the battery compartment and some pictures of the motor/controller area. This isn't usually necessary, but after nearly 20 years working around new and used Club Car carts every day, I've never seen nor heard of an X2 Plus. That's why I need pictures.
