DS fender flares
Im working on an 85 DS. The rear body over the fender wells is flat, there is no body flare over the wheel wells what so ever. The problem Im having is the fender flares that I ordered are set up to mount on a bit of a flare. I ordered a set of fender flares and accidently ordered the flare for 2000 and up carts that have flare over the wheel wells on the rear, that was my fault. I reordered flares for this cart and made sure to order the correct year flares this time. Madjax 03-039 which so for !982 and up, but they also are for mounting on an angle. Is this body older then 1982? It is made of hard fiber glass not the flex body but from what I can tell its a stock body.

Re: DS fender flares
When I looked into fender flares for my 92 DS, I found that no one made the type I wanted for anything older than 94 DS's. 94 was the year that Club Car put the "flare" into the body.
Maybe that's the issue you are having. Do you have a link to the flare kit you bought? |

Re: DS fender flares
Here is the link;
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It was about $60 more then what I paid for the first ones I bought so I was thinking maybe the older carts had a little something extra hard for the price. But both pairs were the same cheap ****! I like the idea of the nylon spacers. |

Re: DS fender flares
That's weird they would say for 82 and up. Even if it was a good product for the 82 thru 94, it wouldn't be good for 94 and beyond.
You may want to return those and look some more if you try the spacers. I got my set from a seller on Amazon I believe for around $50. Their cheap, but they work and have the look. They are sturdy enough... Here are the ones I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

Re: DS fender flares
Get some Sugru and mold it to the correct shape as needed. It will harden and even bond to the surface you place it on if desired.
