04 Club Car Precedent Champion Edition
Ive got a buddies 04 Club Car trying to help him get it back running. The cart was running fine on the course and then a few times it would stop and he could press the pedal a few times and it would go again. Then couple days later it stopped and wouldnt go anymore. They pushed it to the cart barn until I could come get it. After first checking it out one of the battery cables were barely hanging on but still allowed the cart to take a charge. The resistor on the solenoid however was burnt up. I replaced the battery cable and pulled the resistor off the solenoid. With the cart in run I am not getting any solenoid click. The reverse buzzer still sounds when put in reverse. I have tried jumping the MCOR pins and that did not work. Have also tried rebooting the OBC by leaving the batteries disconnected for 15 minutes. I have checked the fuses and they are good. Any more tips on diagnosing this issue would be great.

Re: 04 Club Car Precedent Champion Edition
You need the precharge resistor. You might have a shorted controller. Check continuity on motor as well. MCOR could be an issue but your description sounds more controller or short in motor based.
