It is the way your holding your phone when you take the pic. Hold it a few different ways and see which way makes your pic post right when you post them

Cables are free of any kinks but may try lubricating them, thanks.

Phone was held upright, so maybe I'll try turning it side ways the next time. Thanks

Brakes just won't hold me on a hill wo cart weight taking over. Almost as if shoes are not fully contacting drum. May need to adjust more with slack in cables.

It's all about adjustment!!! Went back to the beginning and started with pumping brake pedal with slack in cables until I could not hear the adjusters anymore and bam, I have full brakes.

Whenever I take drums off I use a sanding wheel or grinder to remove the lip that forms on the edge of the drum where the shoes don't make contact. Don't go crazy on it, just knock the edge off so it's flush with the worn braking surface. This allows much easier removal and install of the drum and makes it so you can adjust the shoes almost all the way with the drum Off. Saves a lot of headache next time you have to remove the drums as well.

Another thing I recommend is something you already did. A good slather of Anti-seize where the hub face mates to the drum.

Awesome. Sometimes you just have to go back to step 1. Good job
