Re: 1995 Club Car A9502 F&R Switch
Does the charge receptacle have two pins or three?
Kinda wonder if this was a 36v cart that someone put a 48v pack in. |

Re: 1995 Club Car A9502 F&R Switch
None of those wires in the micro-switches would affect having to jump the solenoid negative to B-, that is a function of the OBC.
With a two terminal #3 micro-switch that cart can only run in Reverse since there is the only time the two terminals will be closed. If You are sure that the black and white wires are running to Controller terminal #2 and to the top of the throttle and you don't care for reduced reverse speed, then just remove the black and white wires from micro-switch #3 and splice them together. Make sure the micro-switch inside the Multi-Step potentiometer is using the NC contacts, those are the two terminals further apart. |

Re: 1995 Club Car A9502 F&R Switch
It has the three prong charger.
I didn't take any of the yellow wires off the small yellow post on solenoid, I just run a wire from that post to the neg. back. Turned on key, put it in forward and pressed the pedal and the wheels started turning. I was surprised, I kept pushing pedal and the wheels increased in speed. Then I put it in reverse and the wheels turned, I was thinking they were going backwards put need to verify that. All of this was done while rear was off the ground. I needed to check with some to make sure this wouldn't ruin something else by running it this way. Also have not attempted to see if charger will charge yet. |

Re: 1995 Club Car A9502 F&R Switch
According to the wiring diagram , they said that was for this early 1995 CC, it is showing a green wire from key switch to the large red on solenoid.
Anybody have some info on this? This is what my solenoid looks like. Last edited by rstief@yahoo.com; 02-25-2020 at 11:45 AM.. Reason: no pic. |

That side of the solenoid is hot all the time. That is where the key switch gets its power.

When I had the battery out, I did verify that the MS was working and blue on top one and green/white on bottom , nothing on middle one.

Re: 1995 Club Car A9502 F&R Switch
I guess my question is now, it appears to be running like it should with just adding a wire from small yellow on solenoid to neg. pack, without disconnecting any yellow wires on solenoid. Will it ruin anything running like that?
Battery is charged and I would need to run it a little before find out if it will charge with the PD charger. |

Re: 1995 Club Car A9502 F&R Switch
I guess what is going on is that your cart was mistakenly identified as a 3-wire throttle, including the FNR wiring.
Based on the fact the cart works with only two wires on micro-switch #3, this is the diagram for your cart: Did You verify the charger works? Check all fuses in the OBC and if they are all good, just cut the yellow wire OFF the OBC and connect it directly to Controller B-. By the way, no matter how fully charged the batteries are, the charger will always go to maximum when plugged to the cart. |
