Enable solenoide fonction
Hello, I am new in the field of electrical cart but I have good bases in electronics.
On a Club Car 1987 36V I wonder what exactly is the first speed relay (enable relay) for? Is it just a security in case another relay gets stuck closed or is there something else I didn't understand. Thank you! Joe |

Re: Enable solenoide fonction
I'm pretty sure you hit the nail on the head. There's a "master" solenoid that helps to prevent a runaway cart should one of the other solenoids stick.

Re: Enable solenoide fonction
Yes. The master solenoid is kind of the main On/Off solenoid.
Problem is those old solenoid carts can still have multiple solenoids welded closed at the same time, and often the master is one of them. |
