Tips needed for DIY top
I picked up an L400 today and it has no top, no struts front or rear. It does have the threaded holes on each side where it looks like a plate should mount for this "strut" to top hardware. What is the thread type for these holes? I was thinking of using 1/2" conduit to fabricate my own struts/framing and maybe do a plywood roof.
What should I be aware of going into this? The cart was (I think) a steal at $200. Thanks. |

Another option would be to check local golf cart stores for used parts. Maybe they made some "roadster" type carts with short windshield and have parts just laying around. I have found a multitude of tan tops like that. They were putting black ones on and had a pile of used ones in the back.
