A dotted line connecting things together on a schematic usually means a mechanical link between the two objects. If you notice, the two microswitches on the F/R are mechanically linked to the cam, but with a dot-dash line, which is also used to show enclosures.

Also, schematic show electrical connections rather than physical placements.

Needless to say, I am not overly impressed with EZGO schematics and service manuals.

However, I started deciphering schematics and tech manuals when I was about 10 (Got a MRL crystal radio kit for Christmas) and I'm 77 now, so I can read between the lines and see what it should be rather than what is written or shown.

Awesome explanation as usual! Thanks. Have you written an explanation like this for the sepex motor in a previous post? If you have, I am sure I can find it so you don't have to type it again. It is very informative understanding how the process works and useful when the need to troubleshoot one occurs. Thanks!

I've explained series and sepex motors as well as series and sepex drives many times, but I recently found a good block diagram for a generic sepex controller that I haven't posted yet, so go ahead and start a new thread.

It'll be tomorrow before I have time to write it, doctor appointment today and shopping afterwards (senior discount day at the local grocery store).
