Default Ezgo pds 1/2 speed

36v ezgo pds. 38 volts showing. Only runs 8mph. I have installed a new high speed motor. Installed 3 rebuilt controllers. New solenoid. New speed sensor and magnet. New fnr switch. Only code is 2-1 (low voltage). I can cycle fnr to neutral then forward and sometimes t will go full speed, but as soon as I stop, back to half. I'm stumped. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Have you tested batteries under a load or with a hydrometer? one bad cell can cause it to throw that code...may read correct at rest but drop out as soon as you put a load on it.

Yes, I have tested at rest and under a load, voltage barely drops. I am changing the harness out now. I'm shooting in the dark

Check the voltage between the controller's B- and B+ terminals under load. That is where the controller is sensing the voltage that triggers the error.

A bad cable, connection or contacts can also cause a low voltage error.

Since you've replaced the solenoid, its contacts might be good.

Bad harness, 10 pin connector. One of the pins seemed a little worn. Replaced harness and we are good to go. Thanks for the help
