I’m betting it just bent from too much load.. Get a 2x4 and a floor jack and bend it back. If you truly think that the brackets are too long take them out and shorten them.

I'm with both of these guys; looks like too much weight was loaded on there. Either on the foot board or the flip part of the seat kit.
I'd try bending the crossbar back as straight as possible before contacting the manufacturer for a replacement part. Or if you have access to a welder, get some angle iron and make your own replacement. |
