Default Well Got Bored today this is what happened

Well since I had the day off today, I had more time to tinker today, been thinking about this for some time just have not done anything with it. I believe smallblock did something very similar but different at the same time. I have a couple of EZGO stock rear flip seats, not the ones with a flat deck on it, laying around, so I decided to try something to see how it came out. I had all of the materials laying around from previous home project and thought I would try this just for SNG's. I used 2x8's, one 2x6, and one 2x4, along with some stain, the bed can tilt, though really not concerned with that, but it passed that day and it didn't turn out too bad.

Well there are two little screws that hold the latch, so I just used a normal drill bit, and barely drilled into the wood so that the box would set up against the rail tight. Then I put the box on too see how it would look, then just used some lag screws with lock washers and bolted it the the rails using the stock holes.

Well after I got the garage finally cleaned up and took the cart for a little run through the neighborhood with a coldie , came back and took a couple of pics, will finish working on it in the morning. I know it is a little different, but was just using material I had laying around to do something.

very nice. you ought to go with some stake pockets in the corners and make some sides outta wood to. they would be removable if you wanted them to be and give some depth to you box. really cool look.

Very Cool! Looks nice and useable at the same time. Like to us "left overs" and build stuff.

Looks like you added some tail lights while you were waiting for the stain to dry. Good job
