Default Battery hold down

I fabricated a new battery tray for my 94.5 ezgo and didn't install any tabs for the battery hold down rods. I could go back and weld some in, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on an easy way to install some without the tabs...?????

You could use bungee cords as I have used them before and they work pretty good for makeshift.

I have run without them, but if you have an accident and 300 pounds of lead and acid come piling out of the the seat bottom? Well, you get the idea

One cargo strap would reach from side to side of the cart.

I bought black nylon try down straps brom Lowe's or Home depot. They came two in a pack and I think they were like $7.

After being exposed to an acid environment for months or years, will the tie-down strap or bungee cord really be up to holding 60 - 120 pounds when needed?

Problem solved. Two 5/16" dia. holes and two 12" long x 1/4" dia. battery hold downs from O'reilly. On the top I fabricated a hold down out of 3/8" lexan.

Sounds better than a soon to be rotten strap.
