Low speed
Anyone know what could possibly cause a dramatic shift in speed. I mean... I was going 12-16 MPH on the asphalt and now I'm probably hitting 8 or 9 MPH right after a charge.

Re: Low speed
Is that a DCS cart or a series cart? When you lifted the cart (assuming it is the one in the pics) did you also upgrade the electronics? It's kinda hard to assist you when we know next to nothing about your cart. Give us some details regarding the set-up you are running and we MAY be able to help.

Re: Low speed
It's been lifted... Same one in the pic with some other mods. Strech front end, 22" strykers, everything was fine until about two weeks ago. Then it just didn't want to go, like the batteries were dead or something... even right after a charge. No... it's non PDS non DCS

Re: Low speed
pull the rubber "boots" on the motor and take a look at the brushes, you most likely have burnt them down do to the excessive load of the lift kit. a stock 275 amp controller and stock 2HP motor are not really rated for the increased demands of a lifted cart. The motor will usually hold up the longest, but only if the controller is higher powered to supply the additional power demands.

Re: Low speed
Uuugh, do we have too? Did you check your water level in your batteries? I love your family, but having non-cart people using your cart, something is bound to need some maintenance after the fun. We should probably look at your running voltage too, we can rule out either the batteries or controller that way. And another thing, why can't your stuff break on the nice cooler days!!
