Club cart upgrade

Thanks that's the direction I will go get the diagram and then identify my cart and then find a kit to meet my needs. First electric cart and I am real green on this stuff and it shows.

We all started with a first cart Look around the site, do some reading and research on upgrades. Read up on cables and controllers.... Let me know if I can help with component questions.

According to D&D this is not a speed setup. It is a combination. They allow this for any application, rear seat, hills etc...

If this is not a torque setup why do I pull wheelies and leave black marks on the driveway? This thing doesn't slow down for anything.

Plug in your needs on the D&D website and this is the only combination that gives you a 70% torque increase and 20+ mph. They list only one other motor with more torque than my setup.

Regen carts have wires coming off of the tail end of the motor and a toggle switch F&R
Series carts have no tail wires and a lever F&R

Would one of those 700 amp logistic controllers be a good place to start my up grade and can I put on just a controller until the buggy fun can handle the other parts?

You probably can not run that controller on stock wires, solenoid and F&R switch. These would all need an upgrade as well.

If you want to piece it together, which is understandable. You should probably work backwards, such as wires first and finishing with the controler. Too large of a wire will not hurt anything, but too small certainly will.
