The solenoid turns power on and off to the speed controller.

messed with it all day today. i found that once i take off, if i push and release the throttle pedal a few times it will work right until i stop, then full throttle again. bad connection somewhere maybe??

I still say you need a new, untampered with, PB-6 or PB-16. you have to have some wires getting crossed in the current setup.

the wiring looks correct, according to the diagrams on the ezgo main page, only exception is the reverse buzzer wires are clipped
i did check the pot again yesterday, it reads 0 to 4.68 ohms now |

no more full throttle, now it starts real slow, and makes a squealing sound, sometimes it pulls up to speed, sometimes not.
the pot is still reading decent numbers. im gonna clip my meter on the wires tomorrow and see if it is reading right under a load |

i put my brother in laws pot in and no change, put my pot back and put in his speed control.
problem solved at least i know for sure that its the controller |
