Default Desulfating battery

I bought a new 12volt battery charger for my on road vechicles. On the settings there is one for desulfating a 12 volt battery. Question is since I have 4 12 volt battery's in my Club Car, can I do this to the trojan batterys one at a time, if they are removed from the system by taking off the wires to It. It says this is a 24 hour operation. Is there any advantage to desulfating a battery, does it prolong the life of the battery?

yes it will help if you do it alot
and no you do not need to remove the batteries to use that charger
just connect it to one at a time

buy 3 more of those chargers and you can do all the batteries at once..... Personally I don't believe you are going to get much more life out of them, but hey, anything is worth a shot.......

I am assuming you have a Precedent with 12 volt batterys? Your stock Club Car charger if working correctly will do the same process automatically. This occurs IF you allow charger to complete cycles and shut off on its own. The expensive OBC included on your cart governs all battery charger functions and does so automatically.
