Re: DC/DC Converter location....
Tahoe, is it a plug and play dc to dc converter that plugs in the harness like the small voltage reducer?

Re: DC/DC Converter location....
I installed one a few weeks ago. Mounted it in the location that Tahoe was talking about. Very easy install. Plugs into wiring harness behind dash panel. It has worked well.

Re: DC/DC Converter location....
Was this the small voltage reducer or the 48v to 12v converter? How large is it and where did you get it and cost please?

Re: DC/DC Converter location....
Yes it's the same plug as the regular 16-12 reducer. But keep in mind if you're doing a stereo install, the Club Car pinout is setup to only activate the converter with key "ON".... this would kill the memory of the radio every time you turned the key off... For a stereo install your best bet would probably be to buy a DS DC Converter which will mount in the location, and wire it according to your application.
