Default Trying to gain MPH on a 90 CCDS 36 volt

Well,
I have recently been bitten by the buggy bug. I have had a 1985 CCDS for a while that we use around he property. The kids love it and I decided I wanted to build myself one so I recently acquired a 90 model CCDS for a project car. I have been reading about many options such as 48,64 and 72 volt upgrades and I am still considering which one to do at a later date.
I am really just looking for something like a gear change recomendation or something that would be beneficial with a voltage upgrade at a later date. ( I have an email into ScottyB at the moment with a request for upgrade info ).

Cart is as follows:
* 1990 Club Car DS that is bone stock as far as I know other than lift an tires
* It has a "posi" rear end and the 85 does not...is that normal?
* The Batteries are coded ( A1 ) Jan 2011...Correct?
* The current speed with my fat butt in it and a full charge is 15-16mph with my Garmin.
* Jakes 6" spindle lift
* 22" tires

Anyway,
Any help would be appreciated and thanks to all for a great site

Is this a controller or a resistor cart?

I can tell you all upgrades are going to have to start with a solid state conversion.

10-4

Just waiting on you big boy. Once you let me know which one of your kits you reccomend, we will begin. I just wanted to know if there was anything I could do with a gear change that would get something now but I am all for the solid state upgrade, just waiting on your reply to the email...
