tire questions
2006 precident
1. what is the largest street tread tire that will fit on the 8" stock rim, without a lift kit ? 2. where do you buy tires ? online or local ? thanks larry |

The Precedent doesn't leave you much wiggle room over the stock tires, especially if you are going to have a rear seat with passengers back there. The stock tires are 18" right? So whatever tire you find that will fit the rim can't exceed that by very much at all, if any. I bought my tires/wheels as a package online. The price, including shipping, couldn't be beat by any brick and mortar shop I could find.
I was going to go with street tires on the stock suspension but I got outvoted by my family. I was going to go with a 10" rim and whatever street tires I could find that filled the same space as the stockers. |
