New to the site and my Club Car
Hello all,
I was fortunetly able to buy a 2005 CC Ds model. I have now owned it for 2 years. I live at the base of a mountain so I new the batteries would not last aslong as if I were on flat roads. Every once and a while the fuel pedal stopps responding as if it were out of charge. I can allow it to sit there for around 5 min. and it will run fine again. Any suggestions : |

Re: New to the site and my Club Car
Does the cart slow down ( almost like brakes applied ) right away when accelerator is up, this shows that motor speed sensor is working.
If problem occurs when pulling hills it could be solid state controller protecting itself from burning up? You didnt say anything about changes done to tire diameter, lift kit, rear seat, HD springs, windshield, etc all of which causes heavier load on whole system? |

Re: New to the site and my Club Car
Well all you listed has been done to the car. I was told it could be an m-charger by a friend. I know the charging system works when letting off accelerator. One thing I forgot to mention is if I unplug my car and just pull it out of garage. It drains all power in about 4hours. The key is off and radio off, not sure what is going on.

Re: New to the site and my Club Car
if your losing battery voltage that fast you either need to find whats draining them or your batteries are junk...............start with testing, load testing, and checking all cells with a hydrometer..................how old are batteries and brand...........................
