Default CC 95 Computer

Do I need the computer in my 95 club car? Just starting to rewire my 95 club car. I have new motor, controller , solenoid, f-r switch, automatic charger, etc. the only thing old is the computer. I think the computer shuts off the original charger but my new one does that automatic.

Yea I can leave it in and just run the bypass wire for the charger. Just didn't know if there was any specific need for the computer and what was all its functions. Still would like to know what the computer all does?

Thanks

it controls charging functions and moniters each battery so that it only puts in what it needs...............but why even run the bypass? with that charger won,t shut off.........the C.C. charger that is.........my point is that when the system is working ok its not a bad system at all ............................

shadowman, i think he has a new automatic charger...

if thats the case, i would lose the OBC. its just a mess of extra wires if you aren't using the factory charger.
