Default Batteries "Cooking"

The middle pair of batteries in my 2000 CC DS 48 volt w/T-860 are audibly bubbling. The other four are not. I put new cables on about 3-4 months ago, purchased from local dealer. I clean and they corrode within a week or so (even with purple spray applied). The old ones never corroded like these (copper) cables. Yesterday I pulled the cart off the charger and went to go; it bucked like batteries were low, but ran fine when going. It did this every time I stopped and started.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated,
Curt

You may have one or more bad or weak batteries. I suspect the 2 that are bubbling.... but not sure about that? Can you check them with a voltmeter or hydrometer?

I have a voltmeter and will check again. I don't have a load tester but probably need to get one. They're '07 batteries.
thanks, Scotty I'll report back.
