FYI the steering column from a Club Car limo car is 2-1/2" Shorter than a DS Steering column and will bolt right up. That's what we usually do when people need more room.

Are you just cutting down the cushion and using the same seat back for a DS or different seat back and cushion?

That will help for sure but moving the seat back 2-3 inches forward which is what the rear seat kit does seems to throw the whole system out of whack for me. I might just sell the SOB.

Would I use my original plastic seat back? I can't tell from your pictures what would be different on thickness to help with my problem. Any additional photos or measurements would be helpful.

Thanks

Yes use your stock seat back plastic and the foam is thinner.

How much thinner is the foam on your replacement seat? I need to make sure that the change is great enough to give me back some of the clearance in seatback space I lost with my rear seat kit and spacers that are used with my kit.
