I believe a winch will draw way more than your converter will supply! Check your winch specs and see what it draws in amps.

i have a 6 ga wire on my main + on the battery pack and a 6 ga wire on the main - on the battery pack running to the reducer.I had 50.7 volts going to it. On the first two reducer i hooked up i never even touched the winch button and it burned out. I had no trouble before with other reducer pulling the i always cut my radio off so that wouldn't be a issue. The only thing i have done since the orginal reducer is a put a new set of batteries in Trojan 875's is there a chance one of the batteries are low on there amperage output

thanks for everbody's help i will tear the whole thing apart and start over and try another ruducer and if that don't work i will go the battery route
