Default Charger issue or something else?

I have a 2003 CC. When I plug in the charger, it clicks, them hums, but the amp meter does not move.

I just changed the receptiical and I triple checked all the wiring. It all looks good.

The charger was also worked on at a local shop but there were no problems with it before they took it because my wife thought there was a problem with it. sign.

So now I have a problem because two things were worked on at the same time so hard to isolate the problem.

So the charger clicks, hums, but the amp meter does not move. Any thoughts?

Thank you.

John

well if you were told your charger is ok can you try it on another cart? if it works on another cart i would suspect your OBC went bad although those charger symptons in a lot of cases its one of the diodes and heatsink.............try your charger on another cart if you can if it works its a problem with your cart ( OBC ) if charger works same way as it did then have it checked by someone else tell them to check diodes/heatsink and or relay............................................. ....

Just a thought... have you checked the battery pack without the charger and then when the charger starts to hum? Maybe the amp gauge (link below) has come disconnected or it fried.

Have fun with it!!!
