Default obc settings with new plum quick motor, dont have speed

I just purchased a purple plum quick motor for 48v 2004 cc. I dont have the speed I am suppose to have, only got it up to 16 or 17 mph. local guy checked the setting with the computer and thottle was good 100% ( guys at plumb quick advised this) He messed with some other settings said every thing was good. Now its only going 14 mph so something is going on. I have brand new trojans and my stock motor was also going 16 mph. please help a noobie out!

That sure sounds like your speed controller is not at setting #4. Did he verify this? I know with mine I had to get the factory codes purchased so they could go in and change mine. My speed was limited until I did this. (They also supplied me a Warning Sticker that was placed on the cart about the speed exceeding factory designs.)

You do not need speed setting for a plumb quick, they already come with an overriding speed sensor.
They also eliminate regen braking as well.

What's your battery voltage under load? Are your brakes dragging? which PQ motor did you get? Are your tires inflated?
