Your picture on post #16 shows a small gauge wire under the pack positive battery cable.

Make sure you move that wire so it is on top of the pack positive battery cable.

The pack positive battery cable lug should be in direct contact with the battery post lead surface or you could end up melting that battery post.

I'm looking to install this same relay and just wanting to make sure I understand the wiring. I see one green negative wire goes to your battery back negative post, what does the 2nd green negative wire that follows the red wire labeled "from switch" go to?

Thanks,

It is hooked up to ‘on’ side of the key switch. My key switch has two wires, one that is always positive and the other that is positive when the key is turned on. It is hooked to that. Hope this helps

I understand that the red wire comes from the "on" side of your switch, I was asking what the second green wire coming from the negative post on the relay goes to?

Thanks Golfinw71, I got it now.

Do I need to put an inline fuse between the main battery "+" and the relay? or an inline fuse between the relay and the 48V "+" input on the reducer?

I can’t remember what I did but anything that hooks to your “+” is always good to have an in-line fuse.

I put a switch in the ground wire going from my pack to the reducer. I have a fuse in the positive side. So when I switch it off it takes the ground away from the reducer.
