Default Re: How Many Lithium Upgrades out there?

Gregorio,

How do I measure each cell? These are prismatic, not pouch cells. I measure each 3V nominal cell about once every two months to make sure that they are in balance. They are never more than 2/100ths of a volt from each other so far. If you bottom balance, and never overcharge, they do not seem to wander from each other.

Here is what I heard back from Alltrax about their lithium battery system. This was on Sept 1 so they should be real close.

Hello Walter,

The Lithium system is not available yet. We are still working on documentation. I will keep your email on file and when the system does become available (should be within the next couple months) we will contact you.

Thanks,

According to this article, the Alltrax system is already out there. There must have been hold-ups since the article was written.

I look forward to “tear out the lead" and "drop in the Lithium”. It sounds like Alltrax has been working on this for a while and has a lot of experience with the development of their Lithium systems.

From the Alltrax website: "New innovative products planned for 2017 ... Keep an eye on our progress...we might surprise you."

I have drunk the Kool-aid! Bring it on Alltrax!

There is no release date I can get from them. Recently tried to get a test BMS from them and no - not available - no date. We went through a similar year and a half with the XCT and then longer on the SR release.
My advice is don't hold your breath.
Drumming up pre sale interest seems to be the object here.
