Default 4" or 6" Lift??

I'm trying to order rear disc brakes to install on my cart? (I'm sick and tired of the rear drum brakes grabbing!) My question is how can I tell if its a 4" or 6" lift? I bought the cart already lifted and I dont have a clue as to what is under it.

Thanks for the help,
Richard Smith

Photos attached below.

Thanks

Also,
Im learning on the fly but I'm getting there. I was told that disc brakes were only for the front end of carts. Is that the case?? I just can not keep the rear brakes from grabbing. I've adjusted them twice, they're good for a little while then they start grabbing again. I have read to put a passenger side brake cable on the drivers side but new cables for my cart are advertised as the same length.

I really appreciate any advise.

It's my understanding club car now manufactures a longer brake cable for lifted carts. Contact David (aka TahoeDawgZ71) site sponsor at Revolution Golf cars to get you what you need. The brake lockup is very common using standard length cables.

BTW: Nice cart and I like that LT front suspension. Definitely have some hiem joints working.

May be my imagination... but looks to me like the rear axle is twisted in the spacer blocks/Ubolts.
Most of those lift kits have a spacer/saddle that extends all the way past the axle to the spring perch to clamp everything square.

The setup thats pictured looks to me like it would be prone to rotating in the saddle.

This would explain the grabby problem... as when you hit the pedal, the axle moves rearward or rotates and tugs on the brake cable.

The single rear leaf probably helps contribute to the problem. It looks warped.

I don't know about that one, but what caught my eye is the left hand side of the Ubolt appears bent which would suggest to me that you are correct. This might be the real problem of the grabby brakes.

I got him setup with the All-Sports style rear lift kit and some dual action springs. He's gonna be doing my brake-flip trick as well to add some slack to the cables. Should drive like a new one afterwards. Thanks for the referrals.
