Re: Tail Lights on dim ALL the time
where do you get to that switch? there are two odd shaped plugs - is the switch in that well too?

Tail Lights on dim ALL the time
Not sure, I have an older EZGO and the brake switch is just a button on the pedal. Chase the wire you just fixed and see what it leads to
Edit: also, don’t trust the old wiring if you think it’s been tampered with, I went through 3 weeks of brain damage to find out the last guy jacked things up. Retired everything on my cart finally! Continuity testing is your friend if you have a multi-meter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Tail Lights on dim ALL the time
further investigation: there is no brake switch! at lease not that I can find. the pedal assembly has MCOR II on the MCOR (actual part number illegible) - and that has the two plugs going into it. but there are also a red, tan, and black/white wire, that have nothing to plug into. connecting red to tan turns on the brake lights and keeps them on until the ignition switch is turned off. could this be the wrong pedal assembly or what....

Re: Tail Lights on dim ALL the time
Those wires: Red, Tan and black laying in the access compartment under the floor mat are intended to be connected to a brake switch.
You have 3 options: 1) Switch mounted and activated by the brake pedal arm.I personally have the plunger type #2, check with our site sponsors to see that they carry. You will also need a timer depending on the type of switch you get. |

Re: Tail Lights on dim ALL the time
ok, so the cart was probably upgraded with a lighting package at some point, and that switch was never installed, or the wrong new pedal assembly got put in - is there not a factory switch that would go with this pedal?

Check with David @ www.RevolutionGolfCars.com, if there was such a thing as an OEM switch, he will carry it, but more importantly he can guide you to the best kind for that model/pedal group.

Re: Tail Lights on dim ALL the time
Locate the big piece of rubber with STOP written on it. Pry it off the pedal and see if there is a pressure sw located under it.
