Question 2017 Precedent Champion Purchase?

Have a chance to purchase a 2017 Precedent, serial number JF17 series, that was originally fleet cart at Makena golf club in Hawaii. Asking $4,500 and for that model sounds like a good price. I think the club was shut down, and dealer may have purchased from bankruptcy - he got them in Dec 2017.

Has stock headlights & taillights, USB charger, upholstered seats with "Makena" logo and name, battery meter, 10" CC alloy wheels, cooler, stock top, ERIC charger, I2 (fully programmable). Batteries are 6 x 8V,PD+ (dealer says this is stock CC battery).

Any thoughts on value at this price, and/or things to look for is appreciated.

Dealer says can upgrade speed to 25 mph for $375 - what should I expect to get for that price?

Thanks.

That's a decent price if you can work him down more that is even better. It sounds like it is essentially a pretty new cart since it is an '17.

No idea what he'd doing for $375 unless it is a controller upgrade.

Would a controller only provide that much performance upgrade to 25 mph from stock?

It is according to which controller is put on it and what is done to it. An Alltrax XCT-300 could run you that in speed and cost.

SP4 is only 19.4 and with bigger tires like mine, you get 22 or so with it. I could bump 23 when the pack was new, but that is only $80-$100 to have done.
