Default Cart dies quick

I’m going to start by saying i’m Very new to carts so you might have to reply very simple to me.From what I found in wiring diagrams my cart is a 97-99 36V ds no serial number on cart. Anyway my cart takes off good but within a minute or so it dies and if I let it sit for a couple of minutes it goes again for another minute or so. I have three brand new 12v golf cart batteries in it any help would be appreciated

It’s reading like 35.5 volts or so

If it’s 35.5, your batteries are at 30%. full charge would be 38. Have you drove the cart with the voltmeter to see how low the volts go to when it dies. Sounds like your cart is stopping cause it doesn’t have enough juice

Review the attached state of charge chart, your batteries are less than 50% charged.

Another thought; are these even golf cart batteries or just auto batteries??? There's definitely a difference between the two when it comes to golf carts.

Thats very unusual - 36v carts use 6 x 6 volt batteries. I think a photo of your battery compartment will help. If they really are electric golf cart batteries (and not meant for gas golf carts which are tiny) - each of them will be really big and weigh about 80 lbs like THESE.
