Towing
I've got a 2000 CC DS. It has no run/tow switch. If I need to tow it, what do I need to do?

Re: Towing
Is it a high speed tow or a low speed tow? Or better yet how fast do you expect to be going?

Re: Towing
Low speed … I reckon 5 - 10 mph. But for info what would be different for 25 mph?

Re: Towing
Heat generation, thermal stress, reverse lashing of the gears, etc....
If it is a short distance, absolutely, but for a long distance, you could be creating issues for your self. It comes down to how far, how often, and how long.... |

Re: Towing
So if my cart had an issue in the neighborhood, it would be feasible to hook up a tow strap and pull it behind my Jeep foe a couple of miles at 5-10 mph with no worries?
Do I leave the power off and the F/R switch in neutral (straight up)? |

Re: Towing
I wouldn't expect any problems with that setup.
