Will a G22a cowl fit on G16a?

found a used one on ebay. I think they fit but need someone who knows to respond

Shure !...You can't even order a G16 front cowel anymore from Yamaha. Because of the new "round tuning fork yamaha emblem". The cowel even has little "post type" places to drill out for the original yamaha emblem. "No you can't use the new style emblem"....on your car you need the holes for the plate and screws that support the cowel the the frame bracket. lATER dAVE
