G 16 lift opinions please
I am a golfer but I like having a updated cart. A lift would help me load my cart and improve its looks. What are some of the lift packages you would recommend.
I just bought a plastic molded radio/cd/speaker to install in the top. Next will be the lift. Then wheels and tires. Probably some of plowman's engine upgrades. Last but not least paint. Mine is green, yuk. (long time from now) $$$$$ :-( Any advice about this project that will save me time or money. Would be much appreciated. |

Re: G 16 lift opinions please
I would reccomend looking at the Jakes lift kits there a very good quality and they look sweet!
You may just want to ask yourself this: What size lift do I want to get? What kind of rims and tires do I like? How much do I want to spend? Thats what I did when I bought my G16 lift kit, and it seemed to help me... |

Also badjohnny you might have to take in consideration the style of tire since your still an avid golfer. around here they are really strict on what kind of turf tire you use.

Re: G 16 lift opinions please
I agree with the Jakes lift. They seem to be top notch. And definitely check out what hotwatermusic posted. It is the same around my area also. Most courses here will not let you use your cart if it has off road tires. G16's are very dependable carts and one of the fastest you'll ever drive stock. If you got with a lift and bigger wheels/tires, I would suggest the spring/spacer only torque kit: very inexpensive and fairly easy to install (best upgrade for the money in my opinion on a lifted cart.

Re: G 16 lift opinions please
Thanks a lot Spriddle. I will get one of those.
I installed a radio console yesterday it was a $200.00 package deal. I was not happy with the way the directions said to mount the console. So i started re engineering.I got it the way I wanted it. which is flat against the top and no gap. I will try to get some pics and post em. |
