Cart won't move
I have a 1993 36V CC and when I depress the pedal nothing happens. This is a V-Glide cart and the contacts are good, all cables are tight. I replaced the solenoid and still nada. This started about two weeks ago when it started not moving but would eventually kick in and go, and progressinvely got worse, till now....no go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Cart won't move
Can you tell us if it has resistor coils behind the batteries or is it a controller cart?

Re: Cart won't move
A 93 should be a controller cart. Does the solenoid click or does it just do nothing at all?

Re: Cart won't move
It has resistor coils and the solenoid does not click, I just put in the new solenoid too.

Re: Cart won't move
Check inside the wiper switch box to see if the micro switch inside is burnt.

Re: Cart won't move
Also about 4 months ago I replaced the v-glide, 1st speed resister coil, all battery cables, and one bad cable to the motor, if that helps.

Re: Cart won't move
Follow the cartfixer's lead and check the solenoid activation circuit.......
Also check that the solenoid is working by tripping the activation circuit for it .... |

Re: Cart won't move
I am still pretty new at this, how do I trip that circuit? I checked the switch inside the v-glide and it does not look fried from the outside.

Re: Cart won't move
If it's truly a 93 it doesn't have the original system on it. This car once had a controller setup and has obviously been converted. However, this is irrelevant to your problem. I agree, check your solenoid activation circuit. It's usually a microswitch issue.

Re: Cart won't move
OK, I pulled the batteries and it turns out that one of the wires on the activation circuit was loose, I fixed that issue and the cart is once again working. Thanks for your input it is much appreciated.
