Default Battery tray modifications

For those that have installed a Cloud Energy lithium battery on a club car, what mods did you do at your battery tub if any?
Looking to install either the 60ah or 105ah with metal case preferably. Did you center your battery or kept it offset because of the wiring loom?

Thanks!

What model/year cart? I have the tray for 4 12V and used plywood to get a level base. I did very little cutting of plastic and relocated the controller mounting plate

@invalidusername why did you move all the electronics on top of the batteries and did not leave them at place? Did the batteries not fit?

In 2004-2008 precedents all of the electrical stuff is mounted under a center console so there isn't room for even one 60Ah battery. I was able to fit 2 60Ah in by doing what I did. The 60Ah are about 17.5" long,; the available length on each side of the console is less than that.

So I imagine by just levelling the tub I will be able to fit the 105ah battery with the metal case.

What mileage do you get from the two 60ah batteries? Do they operate properly in parallel?

Need to know what model/year you have. The model/years I mentioned have the center console, the others don't, which impacts what modifications you have to make

Haven't checked mileage. I can go about 10 days to 2 weeks between charges; about 4-5 Ah per day. I've only charged them twice so far. I have a rotary disconnect switch that allows me to charge/discharge individually or together. Right now I discharge in parallel and charge individually.

Invalid username has done a great job on his cart. BUt I don't understand the effort over a 105AH battery. Easy to modify cart for and great performance. Prices have dropped so much and much less detail to install.

Oh sorry I missed that. So you're lucky you don't have to deal with moving the electrical stuff. Any battery will fit. Most people offset battery to one side
