Storing a lithium out of the cart
Likely a dumb question but here goes. How would you go about storing a lithium battery when not in use in a cart?
I am asking because I have an older DS (2002) that I may upgrade to lithium. It's bone stock by the way. At some point I may sell the cart 'as is' so I'd keep the battery for whatever I did pick up next. Based on all I read here Eco is the choice I'd make so that's why I'd want to take it to the next cart I get. At least that's my current thinking on this. |

Too easy. Eco has an on off switch. charge and turn off.

Re: Storing a lithium out of the cart
I think you’d like to contact whatever battery you do go with and ask them about long term storage. I have a 48v Big Battery Falcon Elite (very happy with it) and when I bought it I was waiting on a lift from AllSport.. I figured I’d do everything at once but the lift ended up taking forever. I called Big Battery and was told because I charged it to 100% I needed to use it in (sorry I really don’t remember the exact time frame) but like 10months..
I think you just might wanna call the manufacturer and double check. I’m also very new to 48v stuff so take that into consideration. |
