2021 Ezgo S4 Elite 2.0 Backup Buzzer

Hey all, I searched the forum and could not find an answer so please forgive me if this has already been discussed.

I don't want to disable the backup alarm completely but I would like to muffle the sound if possible. I have read online of others wrapping a piece of tape around it to quiet it down some. Problem is I have no idea where the darn thing is located. Can someone please tell me where the backup buzzer is located on this model so I can muffle it?

Should be behind the center dash panel above the cup holders. Has 2 torx head screws.

Yes, 2 torx screws, allows access to behind the ignition, switchs, horn, etc.? I popped that open and didnt see it in there, even turned it on and put in reverse to listen a little closer. Maybe I missed it.

Sounds like its coming from somewhere below/behind the brake pedal.

If its not there then reach up on the right side of the steering column. Theres a space there. Reach up and its just to the right. Almost in line with the driver side cup holder

Yes, that's it! Was able to put a cotton ball in there and covered with a piece of electrical tape. You can still hear it but its not so overwhelming. Thanks Scott!
